Heartwood
A downloadable game for Windows
Heartwood is a submission to the Robot Party GameJam 2024. It is a creative woodworking game where you will make several wood sculptures throughout a competition.
There is NO UNDO button. So, don't stress out about your mistakes. Just chill and roll with it!
There is a bug with the saw tool that is especially common on the more complex pieces. If you just kinda fiddle with it and adjust the position/angle slightly eventually it should work (it might not).
All player's submissions will be uploaded to a server and viewable in the game's Gallery (after a vetting process). So, please keep things nice!
If nobody has queried the server in a while it might be asleep and take a bit to wake up.
Controls:
LMB - Pick Up
RMB - Rotate X/Y
A/D - Rotate Z

We have closed the gallery server and added all the uploaded sculptures to the game locally to be preserved.

Fixed a bug with the resubmit button.

Added the option to swap out the base piece as long as no other piece has been joined yet.
Fixed a bug that allowed joining the same piece to itself.

Added a button on the Title Screen to resubmit your sculptures to the server in case something went wrong during the playthrough.
